Medical Doctor Associates' (MDA) leadership is made up of locum tenens and healthcare staffing industry veterans. The team’s wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge help ensure that the entire MDA organization is committed to excellence in every interaction, every day.
With a distinguished 20+ year career in the professional services industry, Tim leads the company with a proven track record of establishing, growing, and managing top performing teams. Tim brings a history of success in recruiting, innovation, and growth leadership to Medical Doctor Associates, with proven success in introducing creative business models and operational efficiency best practices. He attended the United States Air Force Academy and graduated from Culver-Stockton College. He has served on the board of the National Liberty Museum and is currently on the board for Culver-Stockton College.
When not at work, Tim enjoys traveling with his wife, Jane, and experiencing different cultures throughout the world. His love of Asia has led to over 25 trips to this part of the world. Tim’s oldest son currently lives in Taiwan and is experiencing this part of the world for himself. If Tim ever disappears, you will more than likely find him in Italy. Tim also loves mentoring disadvantaged youth and is a big fan of Special Olympics.
With more than 29 years of experience at Medical Doctor Associates, Anne is responsible for risk management, government services and other operational functions, including travel and housing. She is a past president of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO) and served on the organization’s Board of Directors from 2006 to 2014. Anne earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama and received the Healthcare Risk Manager designation from MMI Companies and Finch University in Chicago, Illinois.
Outside of the office, Anne enjoys spending time with her husband of 30 years, Craig, two daughters, son-in-law, grandson and three dachshunds. She loves all things outdoors, especially SCUBA diving with her husband and holds the PADI Advanced Open Water Certification. Her entire family is passionate about University of Alabama football, and she loves watching the games with them. Anne is active in both The Marfans and Cystic Fibrosis Foundations and both organizations are especially dear to her.
As the Senior Vice President of Physician Services, Ted brings 30 years of diverse professional experience to the Medical Doctor Associates team. Beginning as a sales rep in New York City, he went on to hold several senior positions throughout the staffing industry in the clerical, light industrial and IT sectors. He also served as a founding member of one of the first VMS systems in the staffing industry. He later went on to found three of his own companies which were sold in 2012. Most recently, Ted served as part of a turnaround team for Family Christian Stores prior to joining MDA. He is a graduate of Fordham University.
He is a graduate with a Communications degree from Fordham University where he played 4 years of Lacrosse. When not with his family, Ted likes to be outdoors fly fishing.
Serving as Medical Doctor Associates’ Director, Account Management, Mia is an accomplished, results-driven leader who puts a strong emphasis on strengthening relationships. She has been a healthcare leader for more than 10 years, with a focus on operations and business development. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University, Robinson College of Business. Mia’s healthcare experience includes service line management, provider staffing and recruiting management, physician consulting and ambulatory practice management. She views herself as a partner in all roles and strives to improve the client’s experience with every interaction. Mia completed the Lean Healthcare Certificate Program and is a member of the American College of Health Executives (ACHE).
Outside of the office, Mia enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Mia is a proud aunt of 11 and enjoys being the BEST TT. Mia enjoys cooking, gardening and shopping. Mia’s favorite season is fall, as this normally includes football games, cute boots, sweaters, apple orchards, and s’mores. Mia also enjoys the arts and loves trying new things.
As Director of Physician Services for Medical Doctor Associates, Quincy is responsible for the daily management of physician recruiters. Additionally, he assists the Vice President with development, analysis and implementation of staffing, training, accountability, and reward/recognition programs. He also serves on the Executive Leadership team. Quincy has more than 10 years of recruiting experience, and has worked with organizations across the healthcare spectrum, including the Veterans Administration, Department of Defense and Indian Health Services. He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University.
Outside of the office, Quincy enjoys spending time traveling with his wife and exploring different cultures. He also loves spending free time mentoring and training basketball players from amateur to professional levels. His favorite sports teams are the Milwaukee Bucks, Greenbay Packers, Marquette Golden Eagles, and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Karen began her career in recruiting with Medical Doctor Associates 19 years ago in the Permanent Placement division. She since moved to the Allied Health Group division and is currently Vice President of MDA’s Advanced Practice division. Karen attended North Georgia College, graduated from North Georgia Technical College, and worked in the healthcare industry for several years as a Medical Laboratory Technician before joining MDA. Her foundation in and deep passion for healthcare allows her to lend expertise and bring real-world solutions to today’s changing healthcare environments.
After working all week, Karen just loves being outdoors as much as possible. In the summers, she loves chilling by the pool and grilling out. In the fall, Karen and her husband love to take jeep rides through mountain backroads. Her favorite thing during any time of the year is to get to spend time with my kids and their spouses… whenever possible.
Nancy is Medical Doctor Associates’ Director of Sales for Advanced Practice, and she has more than 16 years of account management and recruiting experience. Since she joined MDA, she has served in a recruiter and/or account management role for Physician Services, Advanced Practice, and in Allied Health. In 2014, her broad range of specialty knowledge enabled her to help develop and manage the Talent Acquisition program. Prior to joining MDA, Nancy had a successful career as a Territory Manager in the industrial safety and automotive industries.
Nancy loves to spend her free time hiking and camping. She and her husband have visited several of our country’s national parks, but they still have a few on their bucket list. When time allows, they also enjoy visiting Mexico and the Caribbean to explore tropical jungles, scuba dive, and wander through interesting and cities and villages. While at home Nancy enjoys cooking and the challenge of preparing tasty and healthy foods.
April’s demonstrated history of success in the staffing and recruiting industry makes her uniquely suited for her role as Director, Advanced Practice at Medical Doctor Associates. During her 25-year tenure with MDA, she has provided leadership in sales, team building, and staffing services. She spent most her career in emergency medicine and has become a subject matter expert in this field. April also served as Team Lead for our government division and developed a successful and cohesive team of recruiters with multi-specialty capabilities. April received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Development from Harding University.
April has lived in Atlanta for over 20 years, but originally hails from South Louisiana. She loves spending time with family and enjoying spicy Cajun cuisine! She is an animal lover and claims that lost animals all know her address. She and her family love going to the beach and make frequent five-hour road trips South to sunny Florida. She has been privileged to serve in the women’s ministry at her local church for the last ten years. Last but not least, April has been loving her job and being part of the MDA family for the past 24 years and counting!
Milan Boulette joined MDA in 2017 following the acquisition of Advantage RN. As the Vice President of Managed Services, Milan applies his 18 years of locum tenens and per diem nursing experience to the strategic and operational management of MDA’s MSP programs. As a member of the NALTO Ethics Committee Milan is recognized for professionalism and integrity and takes pride in applying his industry knowledge to create innovative approaches to building and managing cohesive teams.
Milan’s professional motivation is driven by his desire to provide the best for his family; his wife of 17 years Amy, and their two young children. On most weekends you will find Milan and his family enjoying one of the many outdoor activities Utah has to offer.
Di Hall has over 20 years’ experience in managed care credentialing and quality improvement. She began her career as the Credentialing Coordinator at a small PPO in Amarillo, TX, in 1993. She has successfully assisted her organizations through NCQA, URAC, and Joint Commission accreditation reviews. Her current position with Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) covers oversight of clinical candidate qualification verification, regulatory compliance, company-wide quality initiatives, auditing and training.
Di is dually certified via the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and has served NAMSS as past Chair of the Education and Marketing/Membership Committees. She has also been granted the NAMSS Fellow designation, making her one of 20 professionals with this honor. Di is the immediate President of the Georgia Association of Medical Staff Services (GAMSS), after being a volunteer leader since 1998. She is a national speaker and subject matter expert in managed care, risk management and delegated credentialing topics.
Di has been married to her husband Ike, a certified health physicist, since 1991. They share a passion for music, travel and penguins.
Scott has more than 24 years of experience with Medical Doctor Associates. He is currently the Director of Risk Management Services, which includes the functions of our Intake, Re-credentialing, Assignment, and Client Onboarding teams. He is CPCS-certified through the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and has served as a board member of the Georgia Association of Medical Staff Services (GAMSS) since 2014. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.
When not in the office, Scott loves serving in the youth ministry at his church, where he mentors teens. He has been a part of more than 15 mission team in the U.S. and to other countries. He has led 12 youth mission trips of about 28 people to Mexico and Panama. Scott is a huge Atlanta sports fan and looks for any opportunity to cheer on his teams. Scott has been married 26 years to his high school sweetheart and they have two amazing kids who are 22 and 19.
Lauren is a dedicated professional with more than 10 years of experience providing quality customer service and business management. She started her professional career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she learned the secrets of the company’s legendary customer service. In her eight years at the Buckhead property, she sold meetings and special events while also holding three different departmental trainer positions. She also was an award-winning leader, receiving the Five Star Employee Award for Outstanding Leadership & Loyalty to the company three times. Lauren joined MDA as a Staffing Consultant, managing client accounts and recruiting top physician talent. She was later promoted to Team Leader of the Primary Care team while continuing to actively recruit Physicians. Lauren’s passion for helping others through training eventually led her to the Corporate Sales Trainer role. She enjoys setting new employees up for success with a solid foundation, while also providing continuous training for all of MDA.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family. She loves art, photography, hiking and baking. Lauren loves coffee, too!
Don has worked with Medical Doctor Associates for 23 years, assisting with their information systems and technology solutions. He has served many management roles within the organization, including development, project management, and operations with a focus on customer service. Currently the Director of Physician Applications, Don recently managed MDA's transition to cloud-based systems. During his tenure at MDA, Don has received 14 awards for customer service and dedication including the Presidents' Club, Leadership Award, Synergy Award, and Employee of the Year. Don earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business.
Outside the office, Don enjoys spending time with his wife Laura, and twin high school students, Colin and Emily. They are a "running family" and enjoy traveling around the southeast watching the twins compete in cross country and track and field. Don also loves supporting local charities, particularly the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (in memory of his Father), and North Fulton Community Charities. Hobbies include music, UGA Football, Formula 1 and Indycar racing, and enjoying eating out at all the diverse restaurants in the Atlanta area!
For the past 14 years, Maggie has worked on building and overseeing the travel and housing team at Medical Doctor Associates (MDA). Her more than 29 years of experience in the travel industry has been essential to finding the lowest fares and rates with hotels, airlines, and car rentals for locum tenens clinicians. Maggie takes great pride in caring for needs of healthcare providers who travel the country with MDA to meet the medical needs of our clients and their patients. Maggie graduated from North East Academy in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
After working hours, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially our four grandchildren. Three years ago we decided to buy a pony and cart for our grandkids to enjoy... I think the tables have turned around on us, and we are now the owners of five horses which we love to show. Recently we competed in St. Louis at the ASPC National Congress Show. I am proud to say we won Champion in the amateur driving class.
Lisa is a Floridian who was born in Okeechobee, FL. She attended Pensacola State College and Barry University. Lisa has over 25+ years of Human Resources experience. As a prior HR Consultant, Lisa was afforded great opportunities to work with many different industries. Lisa’s last role was as a Sr. HR Manager with Office Depot’s Corporate offices in Boca Raton, FL. She is married to Michael, and they have three children, Tiana, Shelby and Adam and three wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys volunteering with organizations that help to make a difference for the homeless, distressed women and children. In her spare time, she can be found doing what she loves the most weightlifting and exercising.
Helping to create access to patient care is our business, but it is only part of how Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) gives back to our communities and society. As part of our mission to Care for All, MDA answers the call to make a difference by contributing to charitable causes and creating our own outlets for giving.
Random Acts of Giving was created by MDA employees in 2013 and is our way of spreading acts of kindness throughout our communities, like singing at a senior center, handing out gas cards to parents at a children’s hospital, and taking treats to local firefighters and police officers. With MDA’s Taking Care of Our Own, our team members support one another during difficult times with financial grants that are funded by employees purchasing the right to wear jeans on Thursdays.
MDA is also a proud sponsor of the domestiques cycling team, and several of our employees ride as part of the team for Bike MS, Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life and Pedaling for Parkinson’s. In addition, as an organization and as individual team members, we support the American Heart Association and the Norcross Cooperative Ministry.
