The facilities who work with us will be responsible for a daily or hourly rate which will cover the cost of physician services and malpractice insurance. The facility will also be responsible for travel and housing costs associated to the provider.
- We can not add a locum tenens physician to our malpractice policy. Is there still a way to work with you?
Definitely. Medical Doctor Associates, Inc. provides malpractice insurance for the physicians who work with us as independent contractors.
- How much time do you need in advance to confirm a physician for our practice?
The more time the better. Many of the physicians who work with MDA will book their schedules 1 month or more in advance. We also handle many urgent and last minute requests.
