Dave Wittrock

Vice President, Locum Tenens

Dave Wittrock is a locum tenens pioneer, having started his career in this industry in 1986. He has touched all aspects of the industry including recruiting new providers, marketing locum tenens services to clients, and credentialing and licensing physicians.

As a Vice President, Dave leads the Surgical and OB/GYN teams at MDA and also Allied Health Group (AHG)(hyperlink to AHG site) from MDA’s Dallas office. Dave joined MDA in 1996 as the Director of Resource Development, and a year later was additionally named the Team Leader of the OB/GYN and Surgery Teams. MDA later dissolved Resource Development and shortly thereafter Dave was promoted to Vice President. Dave and the Surgery Team earned “Most Improved Team” honors in 1999 (based on productivity) followed by AHG earning the same honor in both 2001and 2002.

Dave and his wife are avid golfers, and he also enjoys travel, gambling, yard work, and playing with their two shelties, TC (too cute) and Belle. Originally from Minnesota, they also spend time exploring their new home in Texas.
