Jim Ginter

President of Medical Doctor Associates

Jim Ginter is one of the true pioneers of the locum tenens industry. Jim began his career in 1975 with Spectrum Emergency Care, one of the first national medical staffing companies. In 1984, he joined Jackson & Coker (J & C), and – along with Ken Shumard – was a co-developer of J&C’s locum tenens division. Jim joined Medical Doctor Associates in November 1987, and has been integral to the company leadership and growth since that time.

Jim plays a vital role in adapting and rethinking MDA’s services to meet the demands of an ever changing marketplace. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors for MDA Holdings, Inc., and also for Jamestown Indemnity, Ltd. Jim holds a Bachelor Of Science degree from Bowling Green State University.
