Jim Edmondson

Vice President, CREDENT, Travel and Housing

Jim Edmondson joined MDA in December 2005, and as Vice President directs CREDENT, the organization which provides Risk Management, Credentialing, and Licensure services to the MDA family of companies, and other commercial clients. Additionally, Jim oversees the Travel and Housing departments within MDA Holdings.

After earning his B.S. in Computer Science from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, Jim spent the first five years of his career with AT&T, where his responsibilities ranged from product development and software design to dedicated data product management. This was followed by a five year stint as Director of Institutional Contracting for United HealthCare of Tennessee. Prior to joining MDA, Jim was Executive Vice President for Sy.Med Development, where he led national sales and overall distribution strategies, as well as Sy.Med's product development initiatives.

Jim remains an avid Furman Paladins football fan! He also enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and spending time at the lake with his family.
